The project is located in Bingerville, a municipality in the city of Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Célia Residence

A place that offers a distinctive character through its intimacy and openness to the surrounding environment.

The potential of the site for the future residence presents a unique opportunity to design an architectural masterpiece.

A thoughtful approach was necessary in the design of an architectural project that harmonizes the connection between the natural elements of the site: lagoon, land, vegetation.

An integration into the site that perpetuates today through an architectural language that highlights the landscaped esplanade.

The functional organization of the project provides clarity in circulation paths and richness in interior ambiances. The spatial composition opens up and develops around a central axis that alternates between vegetal and mineral elements. Between bodies of water and interior gardens, the axis, which is the true heart of the project, leads to different parts of the residence:

  • A private section that ensures privacy for the designed suites.

  • In the northwest, a large glass window generously opens up to the outside, establishing new visual and functional connections with the exterior: a large living room, a small living room, a library, a dining room – a design that offers open and bright spaces.

  • The upper floor is designed to provide a more private space consisting of suites and a living area.
